Immerse your piece using a strainer for 10 to 20 minutes to loosen the dirt. Removing the dirt totally can be done by lightly brushing it out with utmost care. For crevices, you can use a toothpick to reach those parts. Finally, rinse the piece with tepid water.

What length would I need if I buy a necklace for a guy?
There are guys who prefer 16-inch necklaces (but not for those taller than 6 ft and are 165 lbs), but majority need a minimum of 18 inches in length (as long as he's not taller than 6 ft and weighs 175 lbs).
