Buying Do's and Don'ts
• Cut should not be too shallow or too deep as this will affect the efficiency of refracted light. • Ruby gemstones should have clarity with few inclusions or flaws. • The color of ruby is subjective, thus, is totally dependent on the buyer. Some people prefer deep red while other people prefer light red rubies. However, make sure that there are less brown or blue overtones. The carat weight is important because it is what you pay for. |
