Alloy – a product of combining two or more metals together.

Bench Jeweler – one who makes, customizes designs and repairs pieces of jewelry

Sheen – natural brightness or shininess of a surface

Silversmith – one who makes, repairs articles made of silver

Sterling – term used to identify silver of the highest quality

Tarnish – a chemical reaction that is caused by oxidation and moisture from air and, to some extent, even sunlight
